Green now looking ahead after return to golf – Mon, 26 Apr 2010 PST
SAVANNAH, Ga. – Ken Green learned over the weekend that he can still play golf. He just isn’t sure how soon he wants to do it again. Green came back after a series of tragedies to team with Mike Reid in the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf. The duo shot a best-ball 71 Sunday to finish at 12-under 204, far down the leaderboard of the Champions Tour event.

Gonzalez leads first round at Spanish Open
SEVILLE, Spain (AP) — Ricardo Gonzalez set a hot early morning pace in the first round of the Open De Espana with a 7-under 65 on Thursday. Paul Waring of England was a stroke behind Gonzalez, a 40-year-old Argentine who’s achieved two of his four European Tour victories Spain.

Utica students get in the swing of things
UTICA — Stance, swing, putt, grip and follow through are just some of the golf terms pupils in Utica and Newton elementary schools will be learning next year, due to a $6,000 grant from Muirfield Golf Course and All State Insurance.

News Reno back on transparency path
The award from the Texas Comptroller Office for transparency in government is expected to return soon to the City of Reno. Pre-trial hearing set for 2008 hit-run A pre-trial hearing has been set for Tuesday, May 18, in the hit-run, car-pedestrian accident that seriously injured 70-year-old Billy Joe Cannon in December 2008.

In the fairway,clipping the grass on your practice swing tells you it is correct.
I find it hard to get the feel when there is hardground fairway,hardpan chip or a soft,muddy lie.
Any suggestions?
