This is a side-by-side swing analysis of Tiger Woods and Ben Hogan that I did recently (I am professional golf instructor). On the rare occasion when Tiger Woods is not playing well in a tournament, it seems that the television golf announcers are always quick to point out what they perceive to be a major flaw in Tiger’s swing. In this Tiger vs Hogan swing analysis this myth is not only dispelled but I actually go on to show how the “flaw” is actually a positive attribute possessed by many of the greatest players, including Ben Hogan. (Golf swing analysis video by Wayne DeFrancesco).

Looking inside from the inside
In May last year, in a moving ritual that entailed me kneeling on the floor before my Editor-in-Chief whilst he ceremoniously dropped ash on my shoulder from his hand-rolled cigarette, I was dubbed Roving Editor in the hope was that I would make some dramatic, eye-catching horological discoveries during my international roving.
