janson.com Villars alpine golf club in the Valais, south-west Switzerland, is located at 1600 metres above sea level. After a trip on a road which, for tourists, seems quite narrow, you arrive at the sunny terrace with its sensational view into the Valais Alps. From here, even in midsummer, you can look out over the eternal snows. The incredible panorama is, however, not the only reason why so many tourists regularly return to this spot. The terrain was extremely well undulated by the architect, Thierry Sprecher. You will find bunkers in the way all of a sudden, and the route leads over natural water hazards such as mountain streams.
